Nandalala Mission will be hosting a Youth Concert on Sunday, June 25th, 2017 at 2:30 PM in Sunnyvale, California.

The Nandalala Mission Youth Concert series is a primary fundraiser for Balakrishna Project, which provides milk and butter to a local shelter. Monetary and Safeway gift card donations are welcome!

Nanda Adventures – Hike #3 at Russian Ridge OSP

Dear Hiking Enthusiasts,

Hike #3 brings us to the Peninsula for a warm, sunny hike at the Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve. On a clear day, this hike offers great views of the Bay Area on one side and the ocean on the other. This preserve is also known for wildflowers; we may be able to catch the tail end of this year’s super bloom if we’re lucky!

Be sure to bring a hat and water. The trail is exposed and the weather is set to be warm.

Group Satyanarayan Puja: Saturday, May 14th, 2017

As per the guidance of our Guru and Founder of Nandalala Mission, Her Holiness, PujyaShri Mathioli Saraswathy, we are happy to organize Group Satyanarayan Puja.

Guidelines for the Puja

  • Individuals/couples can perform the puja. Outstation devotees who can’t be present may sponsor for the puja and their names will be included in the Sankalpa. One Sankalpa includes either an individual or a couple with their unmarried children.
    • Please note: Unlike other puja’s we conduct, for this puja NO prasad will be mailed for outstation devotees, as rava kesari is perishable. we will not be able to send the prasad to outstation devotees as Kesari is perishable.
  • If you wish to perform the puja, please register as soon as possible as the seating is limited and available on first come first served basis.
  • The sponsorship/registration for the puja is $ 27/- (USD).
  • Puja will be performed under the guidance of Pandit Umashankar Dikshit Ji or Pandit Tejasji of SVCC temple in Fremont.
  • Devotees who will perform the puja will all collectively bring fruits, flowers, etc., and other puja supplies will be provided by Nandalala Mission. A detailed list of the items to bring will be provided upon registration.

RESCHEDULED – Hike #2 at Brushy Peak Regional Preserve

Dear Hiking Enthusiasts,

We are postponing the second hike of the club at Brushy Peak regional preserve in Livermore to next Saturday, April 15th, due to stormy weather this weekend. The time and location of the hike remain unchanged.

After the wet season, we can expect a lush green pastoral scene for this approximately 2-hour hike. This will be a moderate 4.6-mile hike through rolling green hills.

Please RSVP here so that we can wait for all the hikers before we start. This would also help us in the case of a change of date due to weather.

The eponymous Lord Dhanvantari was a physician to the gods and a practitioner of Ayurveda. A homam to Lord Dhanvantari seeks his blessings for the health and well-being of devotees.

Please join us for a series of classical hatha yoga classes in San Ramon, taught by Subramanian Yegneswaran (Vasanth).

Vasanth is a registered yoga teacher (ryt 500), Student of Shri Purushotham Pottathil (Shashi), and a current teacher at Bayer Pharmaceutical.
