Thaadanga Samarpanam to Devi Akhilandeswari in HTAV: September 6, 2017 (Lancaster, CA)

Jai Shri Nandalala!
Below are the details regarding upcoming Thaadanga Samarpanam to Devi Akhilandeswari at Hindu Temple of Antelope Valley (HTAV), in Lancaster, CA. Please mark your calendars and make arrangements to attend with your family and friends. For more information, please contact the temple (HTAV) at hindutempleav@gmail.com.
Thaadanga Samarpanam to Devi Akhilandeswari
EVENT
Hindu Temple of Antelope Valley will be celebrating the Thaadanga Samarpanam ceremony of Devi Akhilandeswari on Wednesday, September 6th, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
We are especially blessed that her holiness, Pujya Shri Mathioli Saraswathy Amma, will be here during this memorable event.
BACKGROUND
This propitious event is a key milestone in the evolution of Hindu Temple of Antelope Valley as we all know that Sri Amma Herself is worshipped as an incarnation of Sri Akhilandeswari. Hindu Temple of Antelope Valley is the first temple to install the captivating vigraha of Sri Akhilandeswari in the USA. In Tiruanaikka (near Trichy in Tamilnadu India), where the temple of Sri Akhilandeswari Sametha Jambulingeswara (one of the Pancha bootha sthalangal) is situated, Sri Adi Sankara (a great Saint, Scholar, and Guru) besides installing a Prasanna Ganapathy vigraha facing Ambal Sri Akhilandeswari also inscribed a Sri Chakram and Siva Chakram in the form of a Thaadanga to be adorned by Sri Akhilandeswari as an ornament in Her ears. With the Thaadanga Prathishtai, Devi’s Saulabya and Karunya swaroopam brought in many devotees closer to Her.
OBSERVATION
“The captivating vigraha of Sri Akhilandeswari in the Lancaster temple is in the South West Known as “Kanni moolai” in Vasthu Shastra. South West stands for the seat of authority, power and ruler. No wonder as the very name Akhilandeswari connotes ‘the one who rules the universe’ she found the South West corner as Her abode in the temple.
There are pancha bootha sthalas (five elements: fire, water, earth, wind, and space) dedicated to Lord Shiva. While in four of them – Shiva forms – Arunachala, Ekambareswara, Kaalatheswara, and Nataraja are prominent, the one in Thiruanaikka (Appu – water sthala) Goddess Akhilandeswari is more prominent. She made a Shiva Linga out of running water which came to be known as Jambu Linga.
The temple in Lancaster, the first to bring Sri Akhilandeswari vigraha to the USA is situated in the South West quadrant of USA. Once again the seat of power, She will rule this nation through Her Grace.
The shrine is very important for realizing the glory of Sthri Sakthi – woman power. The true spirit of feminine energy (ruling through love and compassion) can be established by worshipping Sri Akhilandeswari here.
One distinguishing feature in Lancaster temple is that Lord Hanuman is placed in Northwest facing Sri Akilandeswari. In Thiru Anaika, it is Lord Ganapathy” says Sri K. Shankaran from Bangalore, a long time devotee of Sri Amma.
Let us place Sri Akilandeswari in our hearts and become one with Her.”
Let USA flourish under the Grace of Sri Akilandeswari.
Please mark September 6th, 2017 on your calendars and plan to visit the Temple on this auspicious occasion. Details of the program will follow.
