Special Vidhyarambham/Aksharabhyas Event on Vijayadashami – Navaratri Fest 2017

Jai Shri Nandalala!

During Navaratri Fest 2017 Vijayadashami Celebrations, Nandalala Mission is offering a special Aksharabhyas/Vidhyarambham ceremony.

Vijayadashami is an auspicious day to begin any process of learning. Aksharabhyas/Vidhyarambham is an initiation ceremony, normally for children, performed as a formal introduction to the written script.

As part of our unique celebrations, the Aksharabhyas/Vidhyarambham ceremony will be extended to devotees of all ages and at all stages of learning. Devotees will receive a personalized blessing written on the palm of their hand by Pujya Shri Mathioli Saraswathy Herself!

As is customary on Vijayadashami, devotees are encouraged to honor the guru with a dakshina after receiving Her blessings.

Please plan to arrive early to avail of this rare opportunity. The Vijayadashami celebration will begin with the Aksharabhyas and continue for the first 20 minutes. It will resume after the book release and children’s show conclude. Dinner boxes will be available for attendees at the conclusion of the event.
